Beginning on November 11th and running until just after Christmas Day on December 26th, the Festival of Trees in Kennesaw is one of the best illumination events in Cobb County. #2 Christmas Tree Lighting

Join your community for the City of Marietta’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting to kick off the holiday season with Santa’s arrival at the town square. The event will take place on December 1st and feature performances by local school and church choirs, with the Mayor and Santa working together to light the tree and commence the holiday season.

#3 Lights of Joy 

Lights of Joy is the largest residential Christmas light display in Georgia, with over 850,000 lights illuminating the night. It is one of the most prominent light-up events in Cobb County, where you will find over 230 trees decorated with lights – with some individual trees even having as many as 20,000 lights on them. Additionally, nine musical trees synchronize with Christmas music to add to the festive mood.

#4 Mable House Complex Tree Lighting

On December 3rd, get in on the festive fun at the Mable House Arts Center for a tree-lighting event followed by holiday sing-alongs, a drive-in movie, and photos with Santa. There is more than hot cocoa and popcorn to enjoy at this event, such as crafts to keep children entertained.

As you run the course and the sun starts to set, the lights will begin to turn on, making for a truly magical and fun experience.
